Cancelation, Refund & Order Changes Policy

We at Deliada Home Bakery strive to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their shopping experience. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your order. Therefore, we have established a cancellation policy that allows you to cancel your order and receive a refund of 90% of the order value if you do so within a specific time frame.

RESERVATIONS

  • To reserve a specific date for your order, a non-refundable $25 reservation fee is included in the final order total. This fee secures your date on our production schedule and helps us ensure the freshest possible ingredients for your order.

 

CANCELATIONS AND REFUND AMOUNT

To ensure fairness and avoid waste, we offer tiered refunds based on the cancellation notice period:

 

  • More than 7 days before your pickup/delivery date: We will issue a full refund to your original payment method, excluding the $25 reservation fee.

  • Between 3 and 7 days before your pickup/delivery date: We will issue a 50% refund to your original payment method, excluding the $25 reservation fee.

​​

  • Less than 3 days before your pickup/delivery date, including the day of pickup/delivery: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund at this time. However, we can donate your order to the cast members of the resort where you will be staying, or we can offer you a 10% store credit towards a future purchase.

WHY THESE THRESHOLDS ARE FAIR AND HONEST

 

  • More than 7 days: This allows us ample time to adjust our production schedule and avoid ingredient waste. A full refund reflects the minimal impact on our business.

  • Between 3 and 7 days: Some ingredients may already be prepped or purchased, so a 50% refund balances our costs with customer needs.

​​

  • Less than 3 days: By this point, ingredients and labor are likely committed to your order. We offer a store credit to show appreciation for your business.

REFUND PROCESSING

  • Upon successful cancellation within the stipulated time frame, we will initiate the refund process. Please note that the refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.

REFUND TIMELINE

  • The processing time for refunds may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution. Typically, you can expect to see the refunded amount within 5 to 10 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.


EXCEPTIONS:

  • Please be aware that this cancellation policy may not apply to certain products or services, such as personalized or made-to- order items.

  • We know that plans can change, and we are here to help you every step of the way. If you need to adjust the date or details of your special moment, we are more than willing to work with you!

CHANGES

  • Design changes and order changes will be accepted one week (7 days) before the delivery date. All changes are subject to availability (the final price may increase)

ADDITIONAL POLICY

  • We reserve the right to change the model or design of the cake/dessert for aesthetic or structural reasons. We will not replicate the work or art of another baker. The photos or images exchanged between the client and Deliada Home Bakery will only serve as inspiration to choose the best design.
